Interview with Ira, our Brand Embassador May 24, 2019 – Posted in: Lifestyle

You have very unique features. Where do you come from originally?

I was born in Jakarta from a Chinese–Indonesian mother and a Chinese Indo–German father. You would never have guessed, would you? (Laughs)

It is quite uncommun indeed! How does i affect your everyday life?

Honestly, it doesn‘t really affect my daily life as I live in Indonesia and I look more Indonesian than any of my other origins. Although most of my family is Chinese, my strong features, my big eyes, and my dark skin altogether give me a general appearance that is closer to the Indonesian look.

Sure! Actually, in most Asian countries (Including where I am from), people tend to consider that light–skinned women are the most beautiful. I was born with tanned skin and I have never ever felt less pretty than anybody else. I believe each person has their own unique charm, and beauty is something that goes beyond skin color, background, size or age,
